I hate people

-Some dickwad creep who owns a point of sale computor store, whatever the hell that is, is opening a shoe store 2 blocks from me.  He heard there's money to be had in women's shoes.

I give him 3-5 months, tops.  But everyone is coming in here w/that lipsmacking 'I saw your exboyfriend w/a new girl' air asking me what I think.

What do I think......Competition is healthy, my vendors won't sell to someone so close, more people coming downtown w/shoe shopping on their mind is a good thing.  But two blocks is too close and the guy is a weasel.

I went in to his computor place today and said 'I want to meet Jeff, the guy opening the shoe store 2 blocks from mine.'  his mom, yeah mom, rushed over.

'He's not here.  What did you say your name is?'  I told her and she informed me 'they are just going to have 'women's shoes.'  Uh, just like me.  Idiot.  

-One of the tattoo guy's exgirlfriend's who has had a pair of shoes for over a month, who I let postdate her check to the first of Oct, called to say she put them on and walked around in them and they aren't comfortable.  Can she bring them back, get a refund and, oh yeah, she threw out the box.

Kevin is going to Springfield, the state capital for a clemency hearing for Andrew Suh, his brother's murderer.

Another legacy of Govenor George Ryan.  Why doesn't that motherscratcher keel over from a heart attack?  Corrupt son of a bitch.

I'm trying to decide if I should shut the store Friday and accompany him.  He says no but of course he'd say that.

Kevin's dad wants Kevin to read this godawful poem Kevin's sister Kim wrote aloud at the clemency hearing.

It's about Rob's murder.  She wrote it a year after and everyone was like 'whatever' and stuck it in their desk drawer.

Now that Kim is dead as well, this poem 'has taken on a special poignancy', at least in my father-in-law's eyes.

Kevin was looking it over last night. 'I hope I can read this w/out laughing.'
